How to use Adderall?

Adderall tablet

For adults(above 18):

• 5 mg once or twice daily
• dosage increased by 5 mg each week till it gets the desired result.

For Children(6-17)

• 5 mg once or twice daily
• dosage increased by 5 mg each week till it gets the desired result.

For children(3-5)

• 5 mg once or twice daily
• dosage increased by 2.5 mg each week till it gets the desired result.

For children(below 3)

• Adderall tablet is not recommended.

The recommended starting dose in adolescents ( age between 13 and 17 ) is 10 mg per day. If ADHD symptoms are not controlled enough even after taking it for a week, then on the doctor’s advice, it can be increased to 20 mg per day.

Note: The starting dose in adults is 20 mg per day and can be increased further after consulting with one’s doctor.
